Six months into using an off the shelf platform and starting to second guess that decision.

We rushed the launch because we needed something live fast, so we went with a template based solution instead of custom healthcare app development. It worked fine at first but now our staff keeps running into workflow limitations that the platform just can't handle, and support keeps telling us those features aren't customizable.

Wondering if we made a short term decision that's going to cost more to fix later than it would have to just build it right from the start.

What I'm trying to figure out now:

• Whether switching to a custom build now means starting over or if we can transition gradually

• How common this regret actually is among clinics that chose speed over long term flexibility
